After a busy week of long nights out, we decided today would be a much calmer day. First, there was science and English for both girls, then lunch was leftovers from yesterday. In the afternoon, while both Joe and I worked, the girls got creative with their stuffies and small treasures from their many gacha toys.

Another one of our tasks for this afternoon was to test pack part of our luggage, to guesstimate if and potentially which size we needed if we decide to purchase one additional suitcase. Now that that task is done and over with, we may be able to lug all of our belongings to our next destination Bangkok in three weeks.
I don’t know what it may seem like to my readers, but we are really comfortable here in Osaka. We have found a daily/weekly pattern that suits us, we are getting more familiar with our surroundings week by week, and it’s shocking to realize how little time we have left here. A little bit of the same panic of leaving Tecumseh is creeping in, “will we have enough time to do/try/see/eat X/Y/Z before we leave?”.
That said, we are going to try to enjoy every little moment of our last few weeks here, and we have some fun excursions planned, so stay tuned!
Today, being a Thursday, we were heading for bouldering after dinner. We agreed that Joe could stay home and edit more videos (are you following him on his socials? Comment below if you don’t have his links!), while I took the girls to their activity.
At the station, while waiting for our train, another fun one arrived at a different platform, and the girls begged me to share a picture of the interesting train:

Third last bouldering class today (and yes, I’ll have countdowns for everything), full class of 6 students and lots of fun was had, as usual. After class, because we deserved it, we stopped in at Baskin Robbins for a small treat. Three kids scoops come in at just under $10, and make us feel like about a million times better.

On our way home, we took our time to investigate some curious vending machines…

After we got off the train, we called Joe to ask if he needed anything from out and about, and he admitted to having cleared out all our snacks from the entire kitchen, having graciously saved me a taste of only the chickpea chips. So obviously, we did like any girls should do, we stopped at 7Eleven for some more snacks! Maylin picked a container of seafood shaped potato chips, Téa was looking forward to her Pringles from Halloween (Joe did not know where to find these, only reason they survived our absence), and I picked up the below interesting looking chips:

So unfortunately the pizza chips weren’t even good, and Joe ended up eating yet another bag of chips. But I have to say, the chickpea chips he saved me (all three individual chips out of the entire bag) were delicious! More porous than regular chips, and decent flavour. I would definitely buy them again!
We hung out on the couch watching You’ve Got Mail for the umpteenth time, and called it an early night. No idea what tomorrow will bring, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
